"shàn 鱔". My visual art, videos, performances and objects entertain the perverse aspects of contemporary technology and its link to eroticism, posthuman aesthetics, fandom, body horror and science fiction. I explore the disquieting, laborious, contestable, yet generative zones of bodies’ interplay with technologies through embodiments of concepts such as the "dirty cyborg" and unclassifiable entities. Engrossed in the experimental use of consumer robotics, screen technologies and prostheses, I purpose towards monstrously destabilising existing parameters of human identity and limits of the body norm. I have collaborated with Rietveld Academie, Mandrake Hotel, Electrowerkz, The Glove That Fits, Cafe Ot0, Wraith Club, where I have taught, performed or exhibited.
